Christian Bale does a good enough job here as Moses but overall I found this movie pretty boring, and that's saying a lot because I love Biblical epics (even when they have so little in common with the original story) and "sword & sandal" action movies. I feel like they focused too much on Moses' Egyptian 'brother' Ramses and the way they portrayed the Abrahamic god YhWh as a snarky little kid bothered me. The special effects were good but I also didn't like how they explained away the plagues as unusual but natural phenomenon. Those curious should just watch the old Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston instead.
Ikki Tousen: Shugakuu Epic Battle - 4/5 NNR
This is a 2 part film based on the anime series; I believe it occurs during or after the 4th season. Anyway, for those that don't know, Ikku Tousen is famous (infamous?) for its fan service--there are a lot of panty shots, and even some nudity because, for a reason that is never explained or even acknowledged, the female fighters' clothes explode off during combat. It isn't a hentai, though, as the sexy parts are more for comedy and genitals & pubic hair are never shown. This movie is just like watching a really long episode of the show, as the first 2/3 are about comedy and friendship and a little drama, and then the last 1/3 explodes in to fighting with a small amount of "super powers". The art of the show is good but the best animation is saved for the fight scenes and the rest is almost low-budget-looking. The English dub cast does a good job, with surprisingly few recycled voices, but some of the dialog is already obnoxious so anime purists that aren't too uptight for the gratuitous fan service will want to watch it subtitled. Recommended to anime fans that like high school combat stuff, and can handle slightly more mature material coupled with their absurd humor--stuff like Excel Saga, FlCl, Gantz, Elfen Lied, or someone that likes Naruto Shippuden but would like a few more female nipples on display.
Noobz - 3.5/5 NNR
This is a mostly independent movie but has Jason Mewes as a 'star' and a cameo from Adam Sessler and a few other pundits from the gaming scene. It is about a clan of gamers who go to a Gears of War 3 tournament and the hijinks that happen along the way. The acting is surprisingly good for a cast of mostly unknowns, but some of the humor falls flat, and some of the characters, like the main guy's "stop wasting time on games and get your shit together" girlfriend are so well-played that they are loathsome. There aren't a lot of cheesy terms used here; pretty much anyone could appreciate this movie, but those who have gamed in clans or other dedicated groups will enjoy it the most. Recommended to Gears of War fans, Jay fans, and folks who enjoy "gamer movies" like The King of Kong or Knights of Badassdom.

Antisocial - Pretty interesting movie and "virus" concept. Heard a few things about it so I decided to check it out since it's on netflix and I picked up another movie the main character was in called "Drownsman" so I wanted to see what she was about. I enjoyed this overall and worth a watch if you like zombie type films. It's getting a sequel this year too! 7/10

Kingsman 6/10
Taxi Driver - 5/5. Favorite De Niro movie by far.
Reservoir Dogs - 4.5/5. If you didn't already know, Steve Buscemi is a fucking professional. Lol.

For a movie rated PG-13, I am surprised by how much nudity there was.
