- Star Trek: Into Darkness - 9/10
Loved this movie and thought the acting was great. The graphics were amazing and the story was spot on. Great movie that I would definitely watch again.

Again, a great movie with a spot on story line. I especially loved the graphics in this movie and would definitely watch this movie again.

Godzilla (2014) - 3/5
The kaiju action was good, and I like Gojira's look here, but there was just too much human drama in my opinion--75% of the movie was focused on these two related characters. I understand they purposely went for the Cloverfield less-is-more approach to maintain some mystery and wow factor when the monsters do their thing, but I don't think a Godzilla flick needs subtlety of any kind. Plus, if they really had to have so much human stuff going on, they could have had a bigger cast of more developed characters. If you take out the 20 minutes of monster fighting, you are left with an hour and a half of what is essentially a post-war-trauma piece.
I am well aware that my opinions here are in the minority, though--any studied filmmaker will instantly tell you that no matter what the actual subject is, the movie needs to have mundane, relatable human interest to be successful. The important thing is that this movie is already successful enough to have secured a sequel, and I am hoping it also spawns more big budget kaiju movies, perhaps even a Pacific Rim 2.

A Pacific Rim 2 would be very interesting to see.

Star Trek: Nemesis - 9/10
Love the movie and love the series in general. Will probably always be my favorite movie series ever.
The Wolverine - 8/10
This movie was pretty good. Liked the story and the graphics were good. I also enjoyed watching a lot of the fighting scenes, they were really appealing to me.

amazing spiderman 2 7/10
xmen days of future past 7/10
both were not as good as the original reboots.
quicksilver was cool though.

Xmen- 9/10, movie was very entertaining and definitely leaves you eager for Apocalypse. McAvoy and Fassbender were excellent.

X-men: Days of future Past 9/10
I thought they did this movie really good. I can't wait to see the next one.
