Yes because smaller numbered odds always work out in your favor.
6.5/10
Disconnect (Blu-ray, 1st viewing) – This was a pleasant surprise. This flew under the radar, not really receiving much of a theatrical run. It plays out a lot like Crash and Babel with seemingly unrelated stories playing out in parallel. Disconnect is pretty effective from an emotional standpoint, and all of the acting is on point. Jason Bateman turns in a rare, but good, serious performance. It’s not top-tier in its respective genre, and many may find it to be almost too depressing – there’s not much silver lining here.
7/10
Harry Brown (Blu-ray, 1st viewing) – I’m all for revenge movies, with Man on Fire being my personal favorite. This does a very effective job early on of painting a picture of a man with nothing to lose (similar to MoF), but devolves a bit in the last half. It focuses less and less on Caine’s character (who he plays well, of course), and more on the over-the-top violence. Some people are really high on this one, though, so it’s definitely worth a look.
6/10
Way of the Gun (Blu-ray, 1st viewing) – Had a friend recommend this to me some time ago, and finally got around to checking it out. It plays out a lot like Tarantino lite sort of stuff, and fails to be anything more than just a watchable crime thriller. Features some decent scenes and shootouts, some snappy dialogue, but the whole movie never comes together too well. It’s worth a watch for fans of the genre, but nothing here worth a major note.
5/10
Shooter (Blu-ray, 5th viewing) – As you can see, I’ve seen this a few times – been a few years, though. It didn’t hold together quite as well this time, as some of the more glaring plot gaps were more apparent to me. Still, it’s a well done action thriller with a good performance from Wahlberg. Fuqua is never mentioned as one of the better directors in Hollywood, but his movies are consistently entertaining – Training Day, King Arthur, Tears of the Sun, Shooter, Brooklyn’s Finest & Olympus Has Fallen. If you’re looking for a non-stop thrill ride, Shooter and the rest of Fuqua’s movies do a fine job.
7/10
Just Go With It (Blu-ray, 1st viewing) – I took up for Sandler and his recent outings when I reviewed Grown Ups recently, but I may have to take a step back after seeing this. There were almost no laughs throughout the entire movie, and getting through the whole 2 hours felt more like a chore than anything else. Resorts to cheap, kiddy humor more than anything else, and follows that tired, predictable tread that so many romantic comedies do.
3/10
Unforgiven (Blu-ray, 2nd viewing) – One of the better recent westerns, and one of my personal favorites. Features strong performances from Eastwood, Freeman and especially Hackman, who’s great as the sadistic Little Bill. Like my favorite western, Open Range, it thrives with the less is more mantra, introducing only a few central characters, and not attempting to develop too many little subplots. They’re not what most people will remember from his filmography, but Eastwood’s efforts in the 1990s and early 2000s are still solid watches, and this one is a stalwart in that bunch.

i haven't seen it in years probably since it came out but i thought it was better, Renner the best as Gamble (psycho) , tho Farrell does hold his own, and could be one of his top 5 films. Solid!
It was creepy, for sure, and the whole premise behind mirrors being portals or pathways between our world and a supernatural world is one that always peaked my interests.
the storyline was confusing at times, the way it kept switching between the past and present, as it was hard to follow. But being a psychological thriller, it made sense.
The acting was good, though the father could have been more convincing.
Overall, a 7/10 because it was more psychologically thrilling than actual terror.
Fucking garbage. This is the worst movie I have seen in a long time. I gave it a 3 because that's how many times I laughed.
