Quote by Mike G:
Transformers: Age of Extinction 3/10
Terrible ass movie. Michael Bay is raping my childhood.
For me the entire series of films have been ****. Although Mark Wahlberg > Shia Labeouf.

The Grudge 3 - Could barley get through it. Didn't enjoy it at all... 2/10.
How to Make it in America Season 1 - Amazing! Started to watch it yesterday cause Kid Cudi is in it.
Even though the show turns out to not even really have him in it. It has a great storyline about these two bestfriends who wanna make it big in the clothing industry and it's HBO. 8.5/10

Under the Skin - 5/5 NNR
Holy crap this movie is why Blu-ray was invented. It's a very visceral movie, a bit abstract until the very end, and Scarlett Johansson is incredibly mesmerizing and beautiful, even if I like her better with long hair. There are many long and wide shots showcasing the beauty of Scotland, and the audio is mixed so that it helps develop the story. Highly recommended to fans of science fiction, intense weird movies, generally trippy shit, and Scarlett. Watch it on BRD; use headphones if you don't have a hi-fi 5.1 sound setup.
You're Next - 3.5/5 NNR
Good for a modern "slasher" movie, does things a bit differently and with characters that aren't overly cartoon-ish archetypes. It's brutal but not as relentlessly graphic as Saw movies and imitators. Recommended for people that like horror but want something that's not torture porn or a remade Japanese ghost story. There's a bit of a revenge/vigilante vibe to it that is cool.

Darkman - This is my first time seeing this. I'm a really big fan of Sam Rami so I'm gonna end up watching all of his movies. Being said this one was great!!! Liam Neeson was awesome and the story is pretty great! If you haven't seen this and want a revenge type movie this is one of the better ones! 8/10.

Bait - It's a 3-D shark movie. Better than Shark Night 3D and it wasn't even in theaters.. I enjoyed it and it's one of the better shark movies I've seen. I'd give it a watch if you like movies like this, 7/10.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - 8/10
I never thought I'd like a movie that features talking chimps, but it executed it well without being cheesy. Plenty of drama, betrayal, and heroes. If you liked the first movie, then you should go see this one.
Pompeii - 5/10
You could kind of see where this movie was going within the first 30 minutes. Lots of actions scenes, but unfortunately not a lot of gore (probably to keep it PG-13).
