Maybe it's just me but....

Well like I said in the title but maybe it's just me but does anyone else think that Pearl Jam is an overated band? I know I am probably starting a war but I can not stand Pearl Jam! I can't find anything about them that makes me interested, and now they invaded Rock Band and most of my friends that play RB say that I am crazy for not getting the DLC! Screw that man. I played the Pearl Jam on RB2 only twice and that was because I had to. Again, I think that I may be alone in this but screw it. I just needed to vent a little and see if I was the only one with these feelings towards Pearl Jam.

Yea, I never saw the hype either. Not a fan.

the music is way mellow and i hate his voice-it's all shaky and sounds weird. i don't like many "Grunge Era" bands except for Alice in Chains. most are just too boring/depressing and can't play live to save their lives.

Eddie Vedder mumbles way too much.

The only good thing Pearl Jam has ever done was unintentional on their part anyway:
Making the mumbletacular song "Even Flow" so that Adam Sandler could ape it in his Operaman weekend update sketches.
Since RB2 had Abnormality's "Visions" in the setlist it made me hopeful for future death metal & grindcore DLC, but considering how much most people hate it, I guess I won't hold my breath for Cannibal Corpse or Cephalic Carnage

I think that they need more metal period. The only DLC that I have bought recently was the White Zombie. I think we should start a online group to go onto the RB website and request every freaking metal song that we can think of so they say "WOW! These guys really want metal!" Another pipe dream but damnit I need to have some better songs on RB. Is bonedaddy gonna have to choke a bitch?

i like pearl jam's "ten" album or whatever.
they're certainly not my favorite band, but i think they're okay lol.
compare them to someone like soundgarden though, and they suck truly epic balls.

Wow anime! Get angry or something. This post wasn't meant to start a flamewar but I guess there is always a person out there who needs to start crap. Listen, I listen to all kinds of music, but I find myself completely uniterested in Pearl Jam. I don't care if you like it or the rest of the world likes it, I just wanted to know if other people on one of my favorite sites had an opinion about it or not. You obviously have one, but all you can do is start something that really has no effect on the greater good of this online community. I may not have millions of posts but I feel very much a part of this community and I don't ever mean to start a fight or anything like that. I just wanted to get something off my chest. Dang. BTW, I hated the country track pack just as much as I did the Pearl Jam Album pack. And yes I am a huge metal fan and the world should listen to me.
