^ I love Horde, I think it's fun and enjoyable BUT multiplayer is a big thing I looked foward to when this game was to come out (looking forward to not having to buy another game for awhile since I'd be hooked on this) but the multiplayer makes me so angry I mean seriously you might as well tape down the B button on the controller because that's what everyone else seems to do. The shotgun is TOO WEAK, they have not fixed it, they made it to where no one wants to use it.. I love the new weapon additions and the maps are interesting but as far as gameplay for multiplayer I can see me getting tired of this by Christmas .. PUBLIC matches anyways!

It sucks you can't just pick a gametype, what is that CRAP!? You have to go in and hope you get something cool to MAYBE pick from and in most cases you don't plus you get two options with maps that both PROBABLY suck

I think the setting up of Public game type sucks balls

I beat it last night with Nick on hardcore, it was easier than I was expecting. We died more when we had to face a lotta locust than when we faced the bosses. The only multiplayer I've done is from the tourney, and I thought that it was more fun than the previous one.

i agree with you 100%. the game is great but it definitely needs to get some issues worked out. i can't win a chainsaw duel for the life of me, (get it?), and i love how you shoot someone in the face twice point blank w/ the shotgun and they can just walk through it and chainsaw you into 2 pieces. it would be nice to actually choose what game type you are going to play instead of force fed it. i see a big fat patch for this game hopefully in the near future.

oh and captain, that co-op bomb carry sucked so bad-"turn , no you turn, too much, go back, move forward, turn right, too much....." :rolleyes:

I agree 100% Meg, the multiplayer was a huge let down, especially the shotgun, NO ONE uses it anymore.
And the fact that public matches are set up like ranked matches makes me angry =/

I don't mind the public being "like" ranked. I just get mad where you can't pick the mode you want to play or the maps!!!!! wtf is that?!

you get a choice, it just isnt always the best..

i like what they did w/ the shotgun, and its not that its weakened down, its just slower so it seems weaker. its actually uite powerful and can totally blow people away (meg knows that best, she raped w/ the shotty in the tourny! blew starscreams chainsaw away! got our team the victory) and i like it

btw, am i the only one who noticed this, but the bots on casual are like, pretty beastly? they know how to shotty rape (fork you hoffman!) they can snipe decently (forkin carmines...good thing i know how to pop their heads off) and its so weird

playing campaign on hardcore was easier then playin a warzone/submission game against 9 bots on casual w/ 60 sec bleed out...srsly.

that was me and mikes problem in the campaign. carrying the bomb. we (by we i mean i >->

couldnt figure out which way turned you what direction, so it took us a bit to get through...btw, niles is annoying as fork! and if you dont chain em, sires are so hard to kill! they get down, you think theyre dead, they get back up, like 6 times of that..

it was confusing! and directionally challenge people cant do that anyways! even doing it solo i got pissed, cause i couldnt figure out which way was right, and AI dom wouldnt shoot, and if he did he missed!

I'm not saying this game is the worst but there are some things that need updated and yes taco you're right about them being powerful but it shoots so slow you only get one shot before you DIE BY A CHAINSAW

seriously...chainsaws were cool for the first night, then after that.. it's kind of aggravating since that's all anyone does basically.. i do like the hammerburst though it's more powerful and it hits harder I think like SMACK!!!!

The shotgun in this game is amazing, you just CANNOT use it like the first Gears of War shotgun. It requires you to use strategy, not that run and gun BS from the first Gears of War.

I am in love with the multiplayer, matchmaking was a much needed addition, I honestly dont think you should get to choose what map and mode you play on for puiblic matches, becuase they are... well ranked. Your rank should be based on how good you are at the game as a whole not just on one gametype or map. If you wanna play a certain mode or map play private and invite some of your freinds.

Loving the game so far, ranked 4976th in the world and climbing!
