yea, i'm playing on hardcore with a dude from work and we've been stuck at the end of the last chapter on act 4. we've played that last checkpoint (the part where you and your partner split up) for almost 2 hours cause he keeps dying......i need a better co-op partner! :growl:

what was evol playin on? normal?

im doing a mp match vs bots (going for "around the world, again" achievement. oddly enough, its before ive gotten "around the world") and my team (were locust, im a skorge =D) is pretty retarted...i was crawling towards this theron, and he didnt come and pick me up

he left hoffman kill me...i guess hoffman was avenging me putting minhs head >->

and now the round is over, we got owned by the last two people on their team...the carmine brothers...

Wave 49 on Horde on Normal and it was just me and my friend alone. I got 19 KILLS and there were 6 guys left and someone threw a frag and got us both.

The ending credits though were the usual, The queen Locust is talking and blah blah, it was good.

The game was epic, but there was some pretty annoying shit in there, like Act 5 scene 4 with the crane, that was sooo annoying

one of the best campaigns i've played in awhile-(this coming from a gow non-believer; gow 1 left a bad taste in my mouth) wasn't too hard on hardcore, but i'm liking most of this game so far. end boss wasn't even a boss, more like just going through the motions (nothing like Raam). the game is good, just needs a patch to fix a lot of the glitchy little things and fix a few of the weapons (chainsaw :mad:

). although i prefer this game way over halo, it seems like GoW took lots of little things from it.

Oh please dont even get me started about the multiplayer similarities.
-The shotgun fails now, its all lancer - Equivalence of the BR in halo.
-Rush power weps - Halo
-Fail spawns.

Oh and with the jack thing, that actually was already in GOW, remember in the first one?

we should write MS a letter and tell them MP sux 'cause of sucky shotgun + too powerful lancer, sucky matchmaking .. can't pick maps, must veto between two suckier maps .. plus you even get to veto gay gametype .. oh joy...BOO!

you guys find it stupid/bad theyve taken a few things from halo 3? so what? thats like saying bungie is stupid for taking some things from cod4 (it did come out first right?) m16 = br, assault rifle = ak, magnum = desert eagle (but slower, but theyre both powerful if used right), sniper rifle = barret, etc....

games take things from each other, and if makes them omre fun..

but tbh, id take the flood > sires anyday....forkers dont die unless you chain em

The shotgun changes were made to prevent a big issue with the first Gears. Shotgun whoring was the course of choice for most of your multiplayer matches. You know, and I know it.

However, I really cannot yet comment on the multiplayer yet except for Horde. I cannot seem to stop playing this gametype... I have beaten level 50, and I still keep going back and playing it! (ala trying it on different maps, etc.)

This game lives up to Cliffy B's mantra, "bigger, better, more badass", without a doubt.
