I love video games since like Pshhh idk the old Sega Game Gear (1992) My friend had
it when I was around 9 I would play the old RoboCop game, he had just about every system out there and shoot
I loved the old pacman that was great but good times good times.
Some people just play it to be better then others which
pisses me off but what can we do.

I play games purely for enjoyment now.
When I reached the barrier of 50k gamerscore I decided that enough was enough.
Now I will play a game regardless of its achievements.
Often playing games I have already completed over and over.

To quote a line from Calvin & Hobbes, "When the numbers go up, it means you're having more fun!"
I think once I break 100k I won't care as much, but currently I find it almost as fun popping 'cheevs in crappy games as I do playing genuinely fun ones.

I play whatever interests me. Achievements may dictate a bit if its impossible. But mostly it comes don to titles that interest me, and once I 1000 them I stop and do something else.

I love hearing the achievements pop when i play games on my 360 but every now and then i'll go back a few years and play a little zelda: ocarina of time or majora's mask, some final fantasy VII, maybe a little Legend of Dragoon. Loved playing those games all my life and i still enjoy it. Makes me think of the good times when i was a kid playing those games and didn't have a worry in the world

when I get a new game, I always want to get all the achievements I can in one go, then get the rest a second time through. Getting the achievements are what I enjoy about xbox games.

I'm playing RE5 just for fun right now and I have to admit that I am enjoying it. I may go back to fill in the achievement gaps later, but right now I'm not going to worry about it.

My favorite just for fungame presently is Fallout 3... That has got to be the best gameout there right now. I enjoy playing it very much and countless hours go by and I'm just running around the wastelands or one of the expansion locations.

Once I hit 60k, I came to a relative halt on score whoring. Yes, I love the sound of achievement after achievement unlocking and watching my score rise by 2 or 3k a week, but I got really burned out. I also started playing Hexic almost exclusively.
It took me a few months to go from 27,000 to 55,000. 55 to 60 was a little bit of a drag and 60 to where I am now has been forever. I still like to play easy gamerscore games, but I'm not buying them by the truckload anymore. If I'm working on my gamerscore, I'm working on going back to a game that I have already played to get more points on it for completion percentage.
