whats the points then :baffled:

Even wafflers get enjoyment out of it, it's just a different kind of enjoyment. Gaining achievements is the enjoyment.

i will come out and say it. i have been getting tired of those threads. i told shock that myself and im not ashamed of it. it seems like everyday there is another thread for boosting or competitions or leaderboards. isnt that what the events are for? events for boosting? do we need all these comps? it seems like some of the features for this site have been made useless since i joined. i kno i havent been here for long but this site was a lot better when i joined. now it seems like there are a lot of ppl who like to just post ramdom threads or double post all the time! it just gets annoying!!

end rant

yeah I still do, although I admit with the 360 it's harder to play for fun rather than achievements. However I still play a lot of PSU and Transformers multiplayer. If I need my fun game fix, I play something from a couple consoles ago and game on. PS1 RPG's mostly, a lot of Mega Man, and Resident Evil 2.

I play games strictly for enjoyment and feel good when I get gamerscore for games I enjoy so I will go out of my way to get points on that game in hopes of someday completing it fully.

I think playing games just to get achievments needs one response....YOU ACHIEVE NOTHING BUT A NUMBER NEXT TO A GAMERTAG.

It shows very little skills when people get games that are deemed easy just to get points because you dont feel any self accomplishment after its all said and done you waisted your time playing a game just to get a number next to your gamertag which doesent amount or reward you with anything.

You dont join some elite club and you will still be matched with people online with limited skills because alot of times you dont even have to be good at a game to score points you just have to find items or spend so and so amount of time doing so and so.
