I'm only an achievement whore with games that I like, the one exception on my list is Madden 06, because my dad I rented it along time ago, and I had to finish it off.

I hear ya Shock. It wasn't until I started hitting milestones at 10K and 20K that I really gave two shits about my gamerscore. Aside from games like Rock Band, Call of Duty and GTA4 I'd hardly waste time on a game if I knew I had all the points I was gonna get out of it. I seriously doubt I would've ever wasted my time on waffles like Beowulf, Night at the Museum and Avatard if it wasn't for that GS tournament. But... every time I add another completed game it I tend to try harder on th next game. I used to play NCAA football or Madden to death but my interest in sports games rarely lasts longer than the current season. That's why I always wait a month and get NCAA around the time Madden comes out.

Same here. I actually am now on my PS3 more than my 360. But, I enjoy every game I play. It takes me out of the "real world" for awhile. Some people prefer books, I prefer video games!!

Hey space chimps wasn't too bad of a game except for the do each level in a certain amount of time achievements....I've played waaaay worse games

Thats only because both those games have 360 exclusive DLC has nothing to do with achievements.

there are games out there that are considered waffles that I like. Transformers, Bullet Witch, etc. Not all easy 1000 games are bad, they're not all great either but still. If I like the game, and it's fun I'll play it no matter what.

there are some games i play no matter what. i will play bioshock 2.
i will play fallout 4, TES 5, yada yada.

i'm a completionist though, so i won't play most games.
so no, in all reality i don't really play for fun anymore unless it's a must have for me.
achievements have ruined me.
