Who needs that many friends?
Just to have more than half of them never sign in or play with again?
More and more nails in the coffin.
I don't have enough space on my friends list. and considering how many of my friends have xboxes I have deleted, I could easily reach 200+ just re addin people I've deleted making room for newer people.
I'd rather it be higher then I can reach then too low and be stuck again.
I don't get how this is a negative this at all, unless you're being completely pessimistic towards the whole console and what it's trying to do, which I guess makes sense then?

I just think 1000 is a bit of a jump. I could see 300-400 people, maybe 500.
I don't know I guess I just never got crazy and added everyone I ever ran across.
Well the Facebook friend limit is 5,000 but I'm sure you're nowhere near that number

And that goes right along with my reasoning stated in my previous post.
The number is way up there, it's better to have way more friends than you need than to be limited to a select few. I've know more than 300 friends IRL that I can't add to my friends list as it's already full, and I know I'm not going to use all 1,000 slots it's still nice to know I have a number way up there.

It's negative for anyone that is good at a game. I get 300-400 messages a month for Trials Evolution and Trials HD (and I'm not even 1st anymore) asking me to add people. I have to keep my list full otherwise people will add, delete, add, delete until I block them.
Wait for Stallion83's reply to 1000 friends, it'll be hilarious.

1000 friends? You will never know if you got an achievement or not with everyone logging in and out.

I am now heavily leaning towards the ps4 now. If I stayed Xbox then I would have to cancel GameFly and eat way more costs on new games. EFF that. I like to purchase cheap used games and I like to rent and try shit out before purchasing. Microsoft really needs to get off their high horse and actually listen to its remaining fans.

Neither have I, but between a few friends in college and people from this website I'm at 100 already. figure add a few more from here, rest from college and high school and people I've met outside of that, and a few random people and the number can go up another 1-200. I guess I would rather not hit a limit, then deal with a limit and managing of it.

So with the blu ray discs needing to be installed onto the XBO in order to play them and only having a 500gb hard drive, you would think that the size of a blu ray disc will take up a considerable amount of room on your console. Doesn't seem like you could store very many games.
