Fallout Online was cancelled.
Sort of. Interplay didn't have a final build done in time, so Bethesda rescinded their permission to make the game. Interplay continued working on it, and Bethesda sued them for copyright infringement. They won, and the project was scrapped. It's too bad, a lot of the original FO guys were working on it, but as far as I know, Bethesda is not working on continuing the MMO. I say "sort of" because I'm pretty sure Interplay would have had to turn everything over to Bethesda when they lost the lawsuit, so it's possible that Bethesda has continued to work on it in house. Possible, but not likely. Since the suit was settled in January of 2012, the timing would be right for an announcement, followed by a summer release... depending on how far Interplay had gotten. But yeah, it was probably thrown in a vault somewhere.
