Rather than pay movers, my dad volunteered to drive a truck up here with our stuff (Evol has some relo assistance but not much). So he drives 2/3 of the way yesterday... No problems. Today, he gets on the road and the brakes go out on the truck. He has to wait an hour for a guy to come look at it, then nearly 4 more hours for them to bring out a different truck from a place 75 miles away. On top of that, they were supposed to get a moving crew together to move stuff from one truck to the next and the crew doesn't show up until my dad and brother already did it and were driving away.
This is so much bullshit. He needs to have some kind of refund applied, because what happened today was not right. We should have had the truck unloaded and my kids could be playing with my dad right now... Instead, he's going to be coming in around midnight and he has a flight out tomorrow afternoon.

What grinds my gears - A house full of sick people. I am trying to stay away from them all but living under the same roof? It's only a matter of time before I get what's going around... =(

I rented Spongebob Planktons Robotic Revenge from redbox without knowing I needed 4 controllers to complete it. I only have 3 left I recently got rid of all of my broken/breaking controllers, now I'm texting people trying to borrow a controller for like an hour.

Kind of like needing two players to beat Bubble Bobble on NES. Although, it's probably easier to find someone to play Bubble Bobble, than Spongebob...

Huh?
They're fake, and prey on all these "helicopter moms" who need to rush their kids through life.
A 2 year old who can read is INCREDIBLE, and should be treated that way, not held up as a bar for people to measure their own kids by. Parents these days...

What grinds my gears - The amount of homework my kids have. When I was their age, I never had THAT much homework - ever. I spent my afternoons outside playing. If I had any homework, I could finish it in under an hour. My kids sometimes spend 3 to 4 hours a night just doing homework. WTF?
