idk i forget.
Cali too. Both of my brothers moved out there a few years ago and they make fun of everyone else when they think it's cold out.

Being completely smitten... head-over-heels...crushing... whatever you want to call it, with someone that totally gets you, and is completely perfect, and amazing- that your conversations in public end up lasting hours, when you meant them to last minutes- especially tonight. But then you're torn, because she's giving you a million dollars to further your career, but then everyone around you says she's totally into you. But it's not like that- career comes first- and she feels the same way. But then I keep getting signs. But I'm a guy- so fuck that. Women are complicated. Let's keep this professional. Then she talks about her Ex. And we connect for the next 45minutes about right, vs wrong, relationships. And did I mention totally perfect? But I surmise she feels similarly interested- yet- career does come first. And would be career-suicide, to make the first move, and have it all fall on my face. Yet- not naming names- but would talk to her all night, and not get tired. But I had to say goodbye. Because 3hrs? Such a douche. But she's Bond girl. Seriously- a femme fatale russian pinup with no negatives. Except, I really shouldn't fall for her- or it could potentially call into question, my future. Professionally. Personally, when she sat down, at our first business meeting- totally wasn't expecting "that".
So yeah. Grinds my gears. That you can have everything you've ever wanted in a Woman, sit right down across from you- but you can't say that. You need to keep it all business. At least... for now. You just never know when your Life can get turned around, in a good way, in an instant. Just "grinds my gears", that I get this kind of luck. Like an early 20s Naomi Watts that's just... god damn. But I can't.

Shitty mechanics that overcharge you and mess more up than they fix. I've got a '93 Chevy S10 Blazer and it completely keeled over on me. it started doing this thing where i would press the breaks and my car would just cut out on me. then the other day it just stopped entirely on the side of the road and it wouldnt turn over anymore. Put it in the shop, they replaced my spark plugs and fuel filters, that on top of the tow was $230. then i talk to them the next day and they tell me it's still acting up, they might need to replace the fuel pump (this is the second time ive had to do this, and my warranty had just ended when i put it in shop). so they do that and charge $390. so total, im in it $620. Get it back today, notice it sounds like ASS. seriously, like imagine someone loudly trying to fart constantly through a very small hole. also my right turn signal was solid, and when i put it on it does not flash so it's messed up. The very least, it's running. But i am sore about this. Now i have to put together something tonight so i can scare them with some lame legal jargon tomorrow about "if you dont fucking fix this you will be seeing my lawyer and i will take this to Civil court) so i can force them to take care of this. I'm even going to the extra mile and creating a fake business card so i can dress one of my friends up in a nice suit with an empty suitcase and pay them $25 to impersonate a lawyer.
i shit you not.

I had the same almost exact thing happen to my 2000 Blazer ZR2 changed the fuel pump like 3 times prior to that happening. Then took it to a mechanic changed the plugs and fuel filter. Check the oil and make sure its not milky looking, it ended up be that one of my cylinders was fucked and my block cracked.

People who get mad at you for not saying the exact sentence from a movie you're quoting.

People who never get movie quotes right are only slightly less annoying then the individuals you catch singing wrong song lyrics 24-7 in public places.

Brakes = vacuum, especially if you push the pedal and it dies. Probably one old, cracked vacuum hose around the intake manifold. You. Got. Ripped.

Might I suggest not logging onto a website while drunk. Makes you look worse than Snapple.
That's good advice. Better here than many other outlets though. This is a safe place full of loving, caring, reasonably minded people.

So we are moving into our new place tomorrow (yay, no more hotels!) and I called to set up cable and internet and they won't because the guy who owns the house still has it set up. He has to call and cancel first.
Well he's out of the country and a management company is handling the house. So they say "just use the line he has and when he comes back he can take care of it."
Great. I don't know what kind of internet he has but he follows it up with "he only pays $10 a month so it's not a big deal to him."
Awesome. So no TV, apparently, definitely no dvr, and probably speeds worse than dial up. That's balls. And we missed an awesome deal with top of the line everything for $99 a month too.

What grinds my gears - in the right forum now - blind dates.
Especially when you didn't know that you were being set up for a blind date.

Can't you ask for his account info through the management company, & upgrade it yourself? Upgrade rates might be better, and if you have his account info, you can change the billing card, name, etc
