Last Saturday, I went to go and see Insidious 2. The movie itself was good, but the people in the theater WOULD NOT STOP TALKING!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! And they laughed at the most inappropriate moments in the movie too. Good movie as I said, but the experience of being there was horrible. I can't believe this is what society has come to...
Yeah, I work in a movie theater and they sent me to kick out so many kids they should have made it rated R.. would have helped out that problem..

Barely played games all week. Joined a boosting session for tonight. Have been on for almost 3 hours and would have been done over an hour ago except one a-hole decided he didn't want to let someone else get the achievement and has derailed the session.
The guy who isn't getting the achievement was also the guy right before me. What a great night

Not like an R rating would have weeded out that problem.
Yeah, it definitely would.. We do theater checks and are required to ID younger teens.. kick them out if they don't.. only for rated R movies though.
Now if 17-19 year olds were making the noise, that's another story..

I was more or less saying that it's not just kids that can be obnoxious. I've been to my fair share of movies where "adults" are just absolutely ridiculous.
I feel you.. the other week some dude brought in a laser pointer and used it the whole first 20 min of the movie.. eventually another man got up in front of the movie and threatened to beat the fuck out of whoever did it.. it stopped lol

It's been pretty much only adults in my experience. Or kids old enough for R, anyway. So rude.

$12??? Did you see it in 3d?
When Evol and I took Kat jr to see the last Harry potter, the women behind us were... Mentally challenged. The theater was in a mall and there was some group there that night and one of the nurses either lost them or dumped them there intentionally so she could watch a different movie. They were making braying noises like donkeys behind us the entire time. The ushers came in and walked up to them and just walked away. A bunch of people demanded refunds after the movie and the manager was giving out complimentary movie passes, but we just stopped going there. Or to movie theaters in general.
Problem solved!!!!

Savannah here, can confirm ridiculous tickets. Good theatre $12.25 (non 3D), about a dollar or so less for the smaller sized ones.
But how 'bout those $7 bottles of water?

Down here yonder the movies start at $9, then go up if it's after 7pm or brand-new, up for 3D, up for "DLP" disc-based instead of reels.
If you go at like 2 in the afternoon you can get the lowest price, sit almost anywhere you want, and it's easy breezy beautiful cover girl.
If you go at 9pm Friday to see the movie that has been advertised every other fuckin commercial... yeah, you may need to account for a few other people also wanting to watch the movie.
Or rather, talk to each other during the movie or play with their phones.
Protip: stop by the drugstore on the way and grab "theater boxes" or little bags of candy and stick them in the purse/pockets.
