Being a procrastinator. I sat down to work this morning, pulled up my list of jobs available, clicked through a few but nothing sparked my interest, so I went to the work forums to see if anyone else was having problems. They weren't, but then I remembered I wanted to join some writing teams to get specialized work. I started applying to a few and realized I didn't have writing samples on my profile. Now I'm going through the site looking for things that I can use from here as writing samples, and getting distracted this way. 2 hours in, $0 to show for it! Whoooo...

Something I really just noticed, "region coding". For all kinds of media-I don't get it. Don't you think you are going to get more money selling around the world. Why limit an exceptional tv series on DVD but make it available in one region. Sure you can have a region-free player but what about video games.
Nintendo was doing just fine with the DS then they started region blocking with DSi then fully with the 3ds.Same for Microsoft, you are a computer company with worldwide support and you are blocking other regions; and there is NO excuse for Sony since they are based in Japan.
Okay now that is over-does anyone know if you can play like a certain region DVD on a supported bluray player. Ex. Japan dvd is like region 6 or something, while their bluray is region A along with us. So can I play the dvd on a region A bluray player?

What grinds my gears - I was just looking at my proposed schedule for my upcoming semesters and found out that I have been signed up for STATISTICS!! I hate math and my assessment proves it.
