Well as we all have to accept in this thread, it is completely a matter of opinion. I did not enjoy Oblivion or Fallout 3 as much as they were hyped to me. Both were presented as the epitome of great RPG games and I was disappointed with both. Neither were bad, but neither lived up to the hype presented to me.
I get that people who didn't play FFVII when it came out would think it was stupid. I played it more recently and thought it was insane I thought the graphics were ever considered "good." I also understand people don't like it as much as me. Obviously having a bit of fun dramatizing my love for the game.
But just because Snapple is a smarmy douche-nozzle does not mean that WRPGs are better than JRPGs. To me they are not. To him they are, but who here really finds Snaps opinions valid? Buelller? Bueller?

To some extent. I just hate seeing all the character models in JRPG's. Most guys look like chicks and most chicks look like 3 year olds. It's all very confusing hahaha.
