What it do. My name is Joshua. A lot of people refer to me as my default gaming alias, Zylra, among other names. This has even extended into real life. Let's just say that I'm a man with many names; anything works for me. You could even call me Senor Snufflez if you preferred. Only with the Z though. Just to show just how hard I go. Yeh.
Where to begin.. been gaming (legitimately) since before I was walking, at the age of 1 or 2. I actually have photographic evidence to support this. My parents and grandparents tell me stories all the time of how people would see me playing a game in public, via the brick (the original Gameboy) or a game demo at a store, approach and ask my parents if I was really playing, see me actually beating stuff, and be amazed at it. Growing up, I never really played outside, socialized, watched children's television shows, or anything of that nature. Video games (the NES and Sega Genesis) were my haven, and I more or less took that with me into adulthood.
As of now, I'm 22, 23 this upcoming January. I work as a high school substitute teacher and off-and-on physique amateur model while attending a 4-year college for game design. I'm a proud and renaissance 'gaymer'; I enjoy all types and genres (save for the dryer Madden-y type games), ranging from hardcore to casual, RPGs to first person shooters, and anything in between. My preferred weapon of choice (for this... well, last generation) is the Xbox 360. Predicting to have an Xbox One by the end of the year or sooner once I have that kind of scratch. I also play a shit ton of Final Fantasy 14 (MMO), in case anyone is into that sort of thing.
And yeh, that's all. I'm happy to have been able to join the site, and look forward to new acquaintances 'n' junk. ^.^
