Beat the entire GH: Metallica career on co-op by myself...Yes, I sang and played guitar at the same time. I use the term "sang" very loosely here.

Borderlands, Mad Moxxi DLC. (pretty sure people can guess already)
Made a new char, ran through the Small Tourneys, which took a few hours in all.
Then did the larger ones. Sad thing is, I had done 2 of the larger ones on my main account,
so, in total, I think I did, what 5 or 6 large tourneys?
Sucked.
Also, boosted FEAR 2 for who knows how long to get the damned 5 star gen, worst idea
ever, if I do say so myself.

DUDE!! I'm so glad this thread has been bumped, because I was about to necro this motherfucker for the achievement that I finally got today after roughly 12 hours of working on it. (I actually left for a few hours, so it wasn't 12 hours straight, but anyhoo...)
HARDWOOD HEARTS-To the moon and back-40GS Get 2 moon shots in a single game in single play or an online game.
With 4 people online working together, this isn't too bad. The problem is that I have no working headset, so 4 player tactics are not available to me. So after a few hours of playing randoms online, it occurred to me that people were just coming and going from my game as they pleased. This gave me an idea.
After a little licence and profile swapping, I had the game up and running on both 360s and both TVs.
With my profile as the host of a private match, I was inviting the profile from Xbox #2 into the game to spy the other three hands in the game. I used this intel to dial up a strategy for how cards were to be played and in which order they needed to fall to shoot the moon. Even with this perfect setup, it was far from easy to coerce the terrible AI to do what I needed it to do. After many hours of cursing the day I downloaded this game, the moons finally aligned and my achievement finally unlocked.
Yes, I cheated, but for all of the effort I put into this strategy, I think I deserve that 40 points and I won't lose a wink of sleep over it, although I will never get those hours of my life back! lol

any tips for that?
a few of us started boosting that awhile ago, when breaking locations gave us more EXP than controlling locations. then they reversed it, which basically ruined boosting. is there an easier way now?
i REALLY want to complete FEAR 2 one day.

You got home from work at 6:30 AM. You finshed the game at 10 PM. You didn't sleep, you didn't eat, and we left to get Al and get dinner and were gone from 3:30-5PM. The whole rest of that time, you played this game. That's more than 12 hours
And I'll take my "World's Most Understanding Fiancee" T-shirt in purple, please. Asshat.
Technically I was working on the 25 wins in a row achievement for a long time, but you'll get your shirt... asshat.
And yes, AJ, it was spades. After working all night and numbing my brain with this game all day, I'm prone to make mistakes.
And, no, I'm never playing this game again!

The hours spent sitting in lobbies for NBA Live 07 "1000 people online" achievement is probably number 1 for me.
This. Finally we got this, it took the combined effort of 5 websites, but x360a will gladly take all the credit, as they do.
We tried this so many times without x360a, because they wouldn't help unless the servers were gonna go down. With TA, easyx36oa, and another site I can't recall, we were able to hit the 700+ mark, but never the needed 1000. Technically we only needed x360a for 300+/- but they take full credit for the achievement, lol.
Mr Bay(unnamed talent) and I, with help from Evol and others here kept my thread for the attempts bumped for everyone here that wanted it. I'm glad we got it, and I'm glad it's over.
Everyone here that helped with that deserves an award, lol.

Trying to get the Boom goes the dynamite cheevo in Skate 2. That took me about 2 hours doing the same jump over and over. Very very very very annoying.

For some reason, I think it was all the Tony Hawk games, I tried to stay away from the Skate titles. I'm the kind of guy who just wants to button mash and doesn't care what happens as long as I can land it or just wreck badly. Works the same for me.
