Major Nelson announced today that the demo for skate is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo is 1.09 GB and takes your through the tutorial at San Vanelonas Community Center. Visist skate.ea.com for more info. It is not available in Austria, Belgium, Finland, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Mexico or New Zealand.

This demo is so awesome, it's sickening. First off, the control is great. It makes you feel good after you nailed a trick, because of the realism involved. It isn't like tony hawk where you do million point combos across the skate park. It almost looks like your watching yourself in a skate movie!

Its fun, they show you how to play then you can just skate around the park and bust tricks or you can do the challenges they throw in the mix. Its a timed demo, I think 30 mins maybe?

Hey syztem, you know when your in the contest on the second stage where its the 2 lengthy flats. Well i woulda uploaded the replay but ea servers were busy, But i 180 varial heelflipped into a nose manual across the first flat 360 hard flipped of the edge landed in a fs fakie bluntslide and double kicked out at the end it was so amazing i tryed so hard to upload it. anyways, this game is so realistic. exactly the opposite of tony hawk. I suggest you guys all download it

well whats better then being able to nollie heelflip in a game thats realistic make you feel like you can actually skate right? Make sure you dont go get a board and try and do i though, cause remember we dont have right tumbsticks to implement the flip it system in real life Lol
