I rented this from Redbox yesterday and after 3 hours I decided I had to buy it. Especially since I would have had to buy an online pass otherwise.
Plus, the stuff the retail one comes with is neat. The Screaming Eagle VTOL is pretty much a go-to solution for me most of the time if I don't want to sprint around, and the 'Merica Gun is great for those missions where you wait for a target.
My main dude looked sort of like me, with corpsepaint and the cardinal robes, but I wanted the Achievement for playing both genders so I made a female that looked like Daenerys from GoT.
After playing with her for awhile I got sick of how plain she looked in cutscenes so I imported the chick I made in 3 and gave her Dany's long white hair, but she still has her crazy-ass facepaint, spiked gauntlets, and wears as little clothing as possible.
Now the mission cutscenes are way more entertaining! Especially with the pasties + physics.

I looked at a few characters on the official website, there is a great Deadpool and a pretty good Mario.
Also there's a Morgan Freeman that looks very convincing, right down to the age lines & liver spots. Plus his hair looks like it went through quite a few wormholes!

I forgot to mention this right after I started playing, but there was a dude in the terrorist hq at the beginning of the game that was looking at this mag that had a topless picture of young Shaundi:

They still have cock-shaped weapons and now a topless Shaundi photo in the game, not to mention certain areas of the city have statues of nude women with 3 breasts and a dark, semi-"textured" area where their glory hole is, and yet they still won't actually let you do topless female characters.
Come on, guys! You already have an M rating, just do it! Do nipples! Do it. Add optional piercings while you're at it.

Triple Post C-C-C-COMBO
If anyone is having difficulty with getting Silver or Gold on some challenges, I figured out some stuff.
On the TK Mayhems where you have to use telekineses on the balls to hurt things, you can just pick up a ball and rub it on things instead of throwing it. Yes, rub your balls on things. This is great for taking out packs of cops and their vehicles.
On the Rift running ones that are like modern Sonic games, make sure you run through as many barriers as you can while bursting, and don't worry about passing up the enemies, just focus on purple data especially while bursting.
In the Super Power Fight Clubs, if the enemies are the type to stay away from you and TK or snipe, hit them with Blast Fire (and have the perk where they blow up when it wears off). If they are the type of enemies that get in your face like the Genki girls, then use Blast Freeze and punch the crap out of them (with improved melee upgrades).
For the Insurance Fraud missions, sprint and glide over to the nearest freeway and start ragdolling in the oncoming lane--this makes it way easier to combo cars hitting you.
For the Races, if you are already at 100% speed boost, don't worry about the green pickups, focus on getting to the next checkpoint ASAP.
For Mind Over Murders, get in the habit of not jumping. Running around on the ground is much faster and more precise. On the Hard ones, bring the first Genki head with you to the other areas.

Lastly, a great tip I got from BeaverHunter -- on any Mayhem missions, look for gas stations and property with fencing. Blowing up the gas station will max out your combo quickly, as will knocking out multiple fence sections in a short time.
If anyone is having difficulty with getting Silver or Gold on some challenges, I figured out some stuff.
On the TK Mayhems where you have to use telekineses on the balls to hurt things, you can just pick up a ball and rub it on things instead of throwing it. Yes, rub your balls on things. This is great for taking out packs of cops and their vehicles.
