I tend to choose places depending on what type of pizza I'm getting.
We always hit Pizza Hut if we are getting deep dish/pan or a big meal deal thing. They have this one now that is 2 mediums, cheese bread, cinnamon things and a pan of pasta, it's perfect for the crowd here.
Domino's for regular-style crust or a lot of toppings, they seem to layer them best. For thin crust we either do Papa John's or Domino's if we are also getting other stuff, their toasted sandwiches are great.
Plus there's always Little Caesar's with their $5 hot-n-ready's, sometimes we'll just grab 3 of these if we are out somewhere and don't want to wait for delivery when we get home.
You know what pisses me off though? I visited Chicago with some friends in 08 and got to try a few different pizza places up there, omfg they really do have what is probably the best pizza in the world. No pie, especially not deep dish, has ever been as good since I had the huge, inexpensive ones in Chi-town.
