I'm on sequence 8 or 9 of AC3. I haven't played all week.
I get my copy of Halo 4 tomorrow, I probably won't touch it for weeks, unless I find time to play with my friends and cheev whore until next Wednesday...
Since my copy of Blops2 won't arrive until Wednesday, as I preordered the carepackage to make sure I got one, and I don't think any are coming to my store for the midnight launch/Tues...

Insomnia is a real bitch sometimes. I just cannot fix my sleeping schedule/patterns to a more normal one no matter how hard I try. I stay up until 2-5 am everyday even when I'm tired for no reason, it's been like this for at least 7 years. I can just not sleep and go through the whole next day, and still have difficulty falling asleep around 4 AM. I don't get it. :/

Have you tried any kinda sleep aid/drugs? Just don't go for the Ambien unless you wanna learn how to make omelets or do crafts in your sleep.
I'm kind of the same way except I have no problem falling asleep when I want to. I just have had a fucked up sleep schedule for years going back to when I was waiting tables for TGI Fridays. Working the closing shift, getting off work between anywhere between 11-3AM and then going to the bar for a few beers or going home to smoke pot and play video games. The only difference now is I don't wait tables, I go to the bar hardly ever anymore and I don't sleep until 2 in the afternoon. I'm always up by 9 or 10 at the latest.

I wouldn't be able to tell you whether they work or not. There are also plenty of non habit forming sleep aids you can try.

Try melatonin, valerian root, and chamomile tea!
If those don't work, try diphenhydramine. It is an antihistamine commonly sold as Benadryl or sometimes as a sleep-aid. It is non-habit forming and definitely not abusable.

I took melatonin for about a month. Worked for me.

You can get melatonin at any CVS, Kmart, Wal-mart, Target, Walgreens or whatever. Its is located in either the vitamin section or the sleep-aid section or both. I would try that one first because your body naturally produces melatonin. If that doesn't work I would highly advise seeing a doctor. I take enough seroquel at night to put down a buffalo but I never would have found exactly what I need without seeing a doc.

i know first hand what your talking about and i would suggest you try either the melatonin or valerien root first, if you do go with the sleeping pills stay with the low dose, i take a few everyday to sleep and have been doing so for the last 5 years so it's definitely not something you want to get stuck needing.i have tried the melatonin and it works great, pretty much like the sleeping pills but not as harsh since sleeping pills will PUT YOU OUT whereas the melatonin offers a sleepy feeling without the forced shutdown.
if you do buy valerien buy the valerien root, i go with the 450mg pills for some reason the reg valerian dose little to nothing, i use them during the day sometimes if im wound up and want to relax,i found they dont put me to sleep but are good relaxation pills.
like the other posts said try the melatonin, you don't want to get hooked on the sleeping pills.
*the melatonin come in VERY LOW DOSES for a reason, don't pop like 10 of them thinking you won't feel much, four 5mg pills just about does me in so be careful (not sure if you can o.d. from the stuff but i wouldn't take morre than 4 or 5.

Yeah I take the fake Benadryl (from Costco) 4 pills every night for the past 5 yrs...works great tough

I miss gaming so much. In the past two weeks I've actually played about 2 hours total. (Not counting hiring a driver in Forza 4 on the weekends for a few hours each day) Work really sucks sometimes...
