My apologies to Meta - I told him I would help him this evening. Well, let's just say it was a female's fault. She started it.

This evening was quite an adventure. My friend Zandra, called me at the last minute (her time) and asked me to help her look at a dog. While I was initially against it, I am glad I went. I wasn't doing anything else so why not? I live in your basic suburbia but where the puppy was, well, let's just say it wasn't very nice. When we got there, the people were so very nice and I really think they do not belong in that type of neighborhood. So, after about 2 seconds of arriving, these 2 little guys came bounding at Zandra and she fell in upside down love. I told her to get the short hair and we were down the road. Get me the F out of that place. Bad neighborhood. 45 minute ride home with this little guy on my lap (yeah, right) he was all over the place. If you don't know, puppies have 2 speeds, go and sleep. No carrier, no collar, leash, nothing. Yeah, he was a handful. Back to Roseville, a quick stop into the $1 store and he now had a collar, harness and a leash. Zandra bought him a cat's collar - it has a bell - so she knows where he is. Petco was a short ways off and there she purchased puppy chow, chew toys and 1 squeaky toy. I am glad that toy is at her house and not mine. I named him SPAZ for the (I think) appropriate reason. He's 10 weeks old and is half Chihuahua and half Jack Russel Terrier.

I like how it’s “my friend,” “my friend,” “my friend,” but at 4 am you’re at home
and her puppy is crated in your kitchen...
