I just had one of the worst days of my life.
My barn caught on fire and I lost my Chevelle that my Uncle left me when he passed away (that's all my family and I cared about), 3 trucks one that I had just bought 2 months ago for $45K, and close to if not more than $150K in tools etc. My family is severely upset mainly my grandmother because that car is the last thing we had that was his.
The fire started around 10:30am and it took them 4 hours 8 firetrucks and 25ish guys to put it out, the Chevelle needed to be removed to fully put the fire out. It's not known yet what caused the fire and the insurance company is already giving me shit because everything was of such a high value, the car itself was appraised for $30K 3 years ago and that's on the low end.

Damn that sucks so bad. That Chevelle looked in great shape after the fire, I'm sure it was impressive as hell before it. Fight the insurance company for every penny you had everything insured for. They'll do everything they can to not pay.

The Chevelle was all original and mint. My uncle bought it in 73 when it was a year old from the original owner and I took possession 5 years ago when he passed away.
The Chevelle and 2014 Cummins should be fully covered they had fire and theft on them while being stored for Winter. The other 2 diesel trucks I completely tookall the insurance off of so I'm not sure how that will go if my homeowners covers them. Usually there is another Chevelle and a 69 Camaro in there for the Winter but we never got around to bringing them over thankfully.

$2300?? WTF did you do??
Two hot water heaters in my house went bad today the odds of that are unfucking real that was $400 a piece and the turbo on my Winter truck went bad and that's $1500 itself.
I would get one of my other trucks out and drive, but they are to nice/rust free to put into this rust belt mess during Winter.

CA lawyers can still help- in my experience they're all too willing to reference their friends, so you never know, I can forward some email addresses, and CC, at the very least, can point in a worthwhile direction, if need be. Whatever I can do to help, just offering my two cents-- I definitely understand your sentiment

No that was a serious question. I need a lawyer and there are too many to know who to choose. :S

I answered seriously. The lawyer that refinanced my condo recommended her lawyer friends, when I inquired about suing bad producers. That led to the lawyer who worked completely for free, that enabled me to do a lot of good-- happy to forward (that lawyers') contact, and a few others-- my experience is that they will at least hear your case. I'll email whomever with a few names, just PM me the email to send it, and I'll do so. Include what you want me to say, in the correspondence, more or less, and it's done. No worries, happy to help.

Being the only amateur guitar player with a specific repatuar of Jewish music in a several hundred mile radius is SO lucrative. And I can only imagine how little this means to most of the rest of you, but it's making my winter break very productive. I'd say it's bringing in loads of beer money, but I don't drink, so it's really just video game money
