All it takes is a month of live for you to be sold that a game isn't trash, lol. You obviously haven't played in 4 player on the Halo 3/4 campaign, it was literally unplayable for at least half the people in my group. We couldn't play it because it was so fucking laggy. Probably still can't because the only thing they're working on is fixing the MP and giving us more shit to play. Throwing more content at a game that sucks doesn't mean they're making that game any better than it currently is, it also doesn't make up for the fact that it was completely broken when it was released.
The problem isn't just with this game, it's with at least half the games being released lately. Day 1 patches and games being released not working or hardly working is the real issue, but people keep buying them so why not keep releasing them? Pretty soon we'll have games released that literally don't work at all and because people bought them, the companies are likely to care even less about them and they'll just try to push more broken games out even faster.
I don't disagree with you at all, and no i never played 3 or 4 player coop so I didn't know there were issues there. The fact that companies think they can release unfinished and broken games is totally unacceptable. And I don't think free stuff makes up for the fact that they released the game and a month and a half later I still can't play multiplayer. I am glad that they are giving us another free campaign to play, and I trust that it will work just fine, but I in no way put that above or excuse 343 or any other company lately for their negligence and such releasing broken games.

PAL ones aren't. But the games are. I have a PAL one currently and 9 games but I've been putting them off for months and months.

I paid $180 for my 250GB Jap Slim, and $10-$20 for all the games I had. There are still a few visual novels I need to play but I'm waiting for the price to drop.

Craigslist is your friend. I got mine through an Asian teenager who didn't know the value of what he had... he thought the fact that it was an Asian console made it less in value. Got it (and a universal power converter) for around $180 too. He even included an extra long HDMI cable that I use on shoots sometimes. Zero issues with it.
Check Jersey's craigslist, every so often. Eventually, you'll get lucky.

So yeah... D4 is the free Games with Gold for January on Xbox One.
I think Snapple, Kat, and I were the only ones who actually bought it, at least that's what my friendlist tells me.
It's a pretty decent game.
Oh, and Witcher 2 is the 360 free game for January.
