Interesting... okay. So Xbox One users... you CANNOT play Region-Free Blu-Ray discs on a USA system. Finally inserted my movie (PAL-Blu-Ray) in, & I got a nice menu that said this region is not compatible. Fabulous. So I inserted my recent Braveheart USA Blu-Ray purchase, & it works fine. We repeatedly watched this (as a freshman in college) every night in my dorm hall, on my PS2 DVD. So that's fine. But I kind of wanted the first Blu-Ray I stuck into my One, to work. It's cool. One day. Good things come to those who wait. & for that nerdy freshman who ended up going to Scotland & running around those woods, 10 years ago- it's all good.

Only games are Region Free.
Supported regions and disc formats
Each Xbox One console is manufactured for a specific Blu-ray and DVD region, following international standards. The Xbox One console can play Blu-ray discs and DVDs that are sold in the same region as the console. See the following tables for the countries in each disc region.
Note Game discs for the Xbox One console are not coded to regions.

IKR
For me "Time and Eternity" was the worst PS3 game of the year. But I rarely venture outside it's JRPG exclusives minus Beyond and Last of Us.
