You're not gonna get the game because it has too many Achievements? Playing games for fun is Overrated.
my issue isn't the 4000 gs it's the 402 achievements. I'm pretty indifferent about halo in general and not particularly fond of the mp, I'm just disappointed there is so many achievements likely making this an extremely difficult and time consuming completion is all.

at least %30 of them are story related and/or Skull-Finding related. Story was fairly easy on Legendary especially with Co-op and the Skulls were all easy to find/do. I feel like a good majority of these you can get with Natural Play through.

edit: anyone getting divekick that would want to boost on xbox one? it looks like you can get 700 gs online in ranked pretty easily if you know what you are doing and have a boosting partner and another easy 100-150 gs for beating the story mode.

Snapple, you have to play 4000 matches. I was considering getting this, but the achievements don't look very easy at all. I've seen the game played on Game Informer, but still, beat the game with every character, and very specific (ranked) achievements... if you're sure that we can find each other (doing ranked), I may consider it... but the achievements for online do say (ranked), at least when I remember looking at them yesterday

I did some research- and it (is) possible for us to find each other in ranked matches, we just need to pray that the servers link us up together. I'm willing to try it, but I won't be online until maybe midnight-ish your time, but I sometimes see you on. And I was mistaken, it's 2000 ranked matches, but for (boosting) they said 4000 (since you need to win)... although I'd probably just do the storyline ones, and a few cheap ranked ones, like you said- and get ~700g
It's dumb. If they made the achievements like... Sixty Second Shooter easy, they'd get 1000% more sales, easy. It's a fun game, but $10 is iffy for these achievements. I'll see if you're on later tonight

walking dead season 1 is up on the xbox one store for those interested it's 24.99 and like 4.7 gigs or something.

In regards to recent releases...
Destiny: Extreme disappointment and anger. Basically a grossly incomplete game.
Middle Earth SoM: Loved it. Want it to continue as a franchise.
Sherlock Holmes 3: Much improved over the previous two entries.
NBA 2K15: Much improved over last year.
Alien Isolation: Just okay (Good by Alien game standards though). Boring/Frustrating.
Borderlands 2.5: Otherwise known as the pre-sequel. It has a unique setting but does not really distinguish itself from BL 2. More of the same is not always a bad thing but don't expect much innovation. You get to play as Claptrap though...and he can climb stairs.
The Evil Within: Did not live up to my personal expectations. Lots of technical issues bog down a otherwise great survival horror experience. Waiting for a patch or two. Reserving final judgement.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection has a 20GB update on day one. Hope those who are getting it have the space. Game requires 45GB then an update of 20GB to unlock multiplayer. That's just dumb. Why didn't they just add a second disc?
