Don't get me wrong, I loved bioshock and liked the 2nd and despite my issues with the 3rd, it was a fun game. I just don't want to see this game churned out like COD and Halo and Gears- wayyy past innovation or decency.

I didn't really care for it. Elder Scrolls was never one of those games I felt needed multiplayer let alone the MMO treatment. My time with the beta just felt like a regular game with half the mechanics that made it enjoyable.
I can definitely see your point. Plus we already have Guild Wars 2.
I'd be more up for a co-op Elder Scrolls implemented similarly to Saints Row 3.

I love the series. Love. It.
But I hate the PC controls for this. I'm not much of a PC gamer, but this was the most awkward scheme I've ever played. And I didn't see a lot of multiplayer elements. I didn't play for long, the controls made me walk away, but I'll still pick it up.

That's why I disliked it. It's advertised as MMO but just feels like a worse looking single player Elder Scrolls game. Maybe I'll get back into this when it goes free to play.
That's the advantage of a PC over console too. :/ I just read an article from a few months ago where the Bethesda guys were like "we don't want console players to have to pay 2 fees to play every month, and we are trying to work with microsoft and sony to waive the gold/PSN requirement to play this online."
Oh yeah??? You want to charge us $60 for a game and $15 a month, but your main concern is waiving a fee nearly everyone pays anyway? Who ran out and bought a 1 or ps4 just for TESO? So stupid.
And then there are the English guys complaining that it's $14.99 in the us and £14.99 in the uk which comes out to $25. One guy is like "I'm so tired of paying more!" Haha seriously- I want to reach through the computer and beat him with an economics book. And they call Americans stupid!!!
