One of the games on the Orange box is team fortress 2 and it is a multiplayer game. One of the achievements is playing with 7 of your friends or something like that. The rest of the achievements are SP, but a few hundred points are mp.

There are parts of The Darkness where you are in a hellish WWII anti-dimension. That's not exactly what you are looking for, but it's a good game.
The only one that I can think of is History Channel: Civil War, but that is not a good game by any stretch of the imagination. However, it is an FPS, and the garbage antique weapons do take forever to load, so there you go.
Also, it's an easy 1000 as long as you stick with it.
