I got the game a little bit ago and figured I would play one match before I went to bed. I ended up going 13 and 6 in team deathmatch. Not bad for my first match. I'll have to play more tomorrow morning when I get home from work.

It's about the same as MW2. Black ops seemed better to me. I can't dive into prone or learn the levels against bots. Campaign is not amazing me so far either. Just impressions after 2 hours of playing it...

Got the hardened edition, which was supposed to contain the elite premium, which was somehow absent from my copy. Called activision multiple times and spent 7-8 hrs on the phone with them, no one seemed to be able to help then finally told me go back to gamestop, it's their fault the Marketplace code wasn't packaged in the game, which is bs. Gamestop did go out of their way to get me a new code for the elite, which they didn't have to, so all's well that ends well I guess.

Went to my local gamestop about an hour ago, they had a line of about 150 people wrapped around the parking lot. Didn't even bother going in.
Went to a different gamestop a few miles down the road, I guess they closed a few weeks ago...
Finally went to a 3rd gamestop about 10 more miles down the road, 8 people were in line all for MW3. They must've had about 500 copies piled up on the desk behind the register.
As soon as I finish up Red River, I'm playing this until I get Skyrim from Amazon. Then playing nothing but those two games until Trials Evo.

Picked up the game today...Not sure why people are saying they can't get a copy, my gamestop still had Hardened editions left (two to be exact) as of around noon and a shit ton of regular editions, not to mention Walmarts massive display case full of them.
Oh well, played for 2 hours so far, multiplayer feels exactly like MW2's to me with a few changes to killstreaks and class customization but thats about it, I'll touch the campaign probably this weekend when I have time to sit down and enjoy it without worrying about the time.

My thoughts on this game so far are pretty mixed. The multiplayer maps are not bad, but none of them really stand out. Survival is pretty sweet, but I can easily see it getting old after abit. The game looks almost exactly like MW2 (not saying that is a bad thing, but it is pretty lame). The Campaign isn't bad so far, it's just what you would expect from an Infinty Ward campaign.
