I finally popped it in tonight and started the campaign. Only played the first two missions but they were fun as hell. Might give the MP a go later after I catch up on a couple shows on my DVR.

I laughed when I read your first post and thought to myself, he'll hate this game in a day or so...didn't make it that long though

I was watching some team killing/griefing videos last night of teamkillers on youtube and thought the same thing, there's absolutely NO penalty for it and it actually penalizes the players trying to play more than the griefers...this dude killed like 15 people and only got -500 points and the guys he was killing had like 8 deaths each.

Probably, but it's Activision/IW and they already got their money so nothing will probably ever get actually fixed besides some gun nerfing

The maps are definitely rushed. With their small size there's no way they took their time making them. A few look exactly like maps from MW2 with different accents. Can't remember their names but the snow one is one of them.

Yeah I know exactly what your saying also one of them is the one with the blackhawk downed in the middle of the map. If anyone hasn't bought CoD elite best buy has a 4000 microsoft points card with a year of CoD elite for 50$! I didnt buy CoD MW3 but was almost tempted to get this for the future.

But Infinity Ward and Treyarch develop the games (Treyarch did Black Ops and W@W while Infinity Ward has done MW1 2 & 3). So the company that worked on Black Ops isn't the same as the one working on MW3, they had two years to work on the game.....

Yes but they still use the same engine and go off the same maps. When Treyarch was doing it its was a nice change cause they weren't the same games. In my mind W@W will always be the best.

I noticed that as well and I don't think I've played every map yet. There were a couple that looked almost like carbon copies of old maps but there were also a couple that I liked a lot. I've for one have always preferred the smaller maps of CoD over the wide open ones in Battlefield. I liked Bad Company 1 & 2 but haven't played the new one yet. I think the Battlefield franchise has always been better for PC gamers (and I'm not one) since they can pack so many more players into sessions than the console versions. It would be badass they could handle 30+ player sessions for the 360 version. I get sick of having to drive around or run for 5 minutes to find some action.

I traded in a few old games when I pre-ordered this and Skyrim so I really only ended up spending about 30 bucks on it.

I didn't waste any $ on the Elite BS cause I only expect to get the same amount if enjoyment I have with previous CoD titles where I go through the campaign and then maybe get in a couple months of MP enjoyment before I get bored and trade it in on something else.
