I'm going to buy Elite separately but on Gamestop.com it says I get founder status if I preorder. But on the Xbox dashboard it says if I activate elite before 11/13/11 I get it. I'm going to get it Friday because that's when I get paid but will I still get founder?

So what's the consensus on the mp so far? Heard from one person it sucks compared to BF3 and it's just nothing but spray and pray and quick scoping.

Maps on average are pretty small. They range in sizes from Vacant of CoD4 and Rust of MW2. The biggest map is probably like the size of Crash of CoD4.
I think its pretty good. But its only day one and the bullshit hasnt surfaced yet.
I'd say from my 2 hours with it, its better than MW2 and Black Ops. Its like what you wanted MW2 be and then a lil more. Really fast paced, plus the small maps... you see action like every 3 seconds.
Its very spray n pray heavy... but I havent seen anybody running around doing 360 triple fakie YY quick swap ladder stall dick sucking nerdy quick scope trick shots. Yet.

lmfao, good depiction, oh well, I don't plan on actually caring or liking the game like I do BF3, but I'll be picking it up to play with friends online and to do the Spec Ops and MAYBE play the campaign.

Same here. I prefer battlefield. But I will still get some fun out of playing MW3 with friends and such.

Played for about 4 hours tonight, but so far I've noticed:
- SMG's are ridiculously powerful at close range (as they should be, but can be kind of frustrating)
- Heart Beat Sensors are OP, everyone just camps with them
- Maps are rather average, none of them stood out to me as really good or bad
- C90 seems to be the best assault rifle I've unlocked so far (currently at level 30)
- Sniping is almost irrelevant due to smallish maps
- Kill Confirmed is the best game type, in my opinion

I can't access my CoD: Elite and it's pissing me off. I paid $50 for it and I should be able to access it. It kept unlinking my PS3 and 360 accounts and it won't let me do anything.
