I had a problem with ED-E. He was invisible LOL. I tried to recruit Rex the dog and I couldn't because I had ED-E and I couldnt dismiss him because he was invisible! For about 6 hours in the game he was invisible and then all the sudden the game said ED-E returned to primm!
it does that it happened to me with boone and ed-e

I got that my 4-5th try. You have to do it JUUUSSTTT right. I would've had it my first AND second try but I just normal melee'd. Just keep at it, follow the guide on TA, you'll get it.
