Gun Runners is completely separate, when you load it up you have to go a vendor and buy the guns (they show with GRA next to them), all the challenges are listed as GRA too. I think some of the guns can be found randomly around the wasteland, but I haven't had a chance to look for any of them yet.

I downloaded Lonesome Road last month and finally got around to playing it this week. Finished it last night and loved it. I had a blast finding all the warheads. I think the explosions in the Fallout games are by far the best video game explosions ever. 
No question it's the best New Vegas DLC and possibly the best Fallout DLC. I think I still like Point Lookout and maybe Broken Steal just a little more.

The warheads in Courier's Mile were a bitch weren't they? I died like 10 times from the radiation alone before I successfully got them both and escaped the deathclaws and radiation.
