Did it freeze while it was saving? That's how I got my corrupted saves. It's best to wait like 2-3 minutes when it freezes just in case (that's been my experience anyways).

Yea, that's exactly what happened to me. You can hear the guide come up but nothing happens. At least you have other saves! I didn't my first time

Just got the 20 weapon mod achievement. If you want a fast way to get it, just go to the gun runners (by the time you make it to the strip you should have about 20-30 weapons ready for modding. Pull up the vendor's menu, buy every mod available for the weapons you own (if you have the cash). Then simply wait in front of the store for 72 hours and his stock will be completely different. You can make a manual save before and then just reload once you pop the achievement!
Off to get kicked out of some casinos (5 more achievements left)!

I was there, but my lockpick wasn't high enough to open the chest
. Working on getting kicked out of all the casinos. Pain in the ass with 6 luck . I also hate that you can't bet more than 200 chips.

Yea, and TA's guide is bad. Their way makes you take way too much time. I have a better way if you want an explanation when you start gambling. With TA's method I didn't win anything in 2 hours. With my method, 15 minutes have passed already and I have over 6,000 extra chips.

EDIT: And I'm banned from all of them! 45 minutes is how much time I spent and I won 36,000 caps in the process!

Sorry for the double post, but does anyone know what uses 25mm grenades? I have 500 or something I bought for the explosives achievement, along with all those missiles I stumbled across (no launcher anymore).

Nah, the grenade rifle is 40mm...
Ok, here's how I did it quickly.
Go to the casino you want to get kicked out of and buy 500 chips. Go to a blackjack table and before you do anything, save your game. Now, start a hand with a 200 chip (max bet), it doesn't matter what you have - hit "Y" to double, if you win the double will cause you to gain 400 chips instead of 200. After every win, leave the table and save, same goes for losing, if you lose - reload your last save so you don't lose anything. Once you win 25 hands or so hands, you should get kicked out. It may seem like it will take a while, but once you get the hang of saving and loading, you're good to go! Took me about 45 minutes using this method, and that was with 6 luck.

It's supposed to do that. Once you get 51 Star caps, he'll tell you about an award which starts the other quest. Once you pick up the holotape in the room with all the crates full of caps, you will get the achievement.
