No. Once you complete all of the missions, leave the floor he is on then come back to him. He will then offer to let you join the brotherhood and he will give you the training as well as some armor.

Spent 4 hours wandering the wasteland looking for terminals yesterday. I read somewhere that there's only 35 terminals in the game. I'm stuck at 21. I wish they were as abundant as Fallout 3.

I had 7 luck, you need 10500 at the gommorah place, i got the 3 oranges at the lucky place and then like 25000 at the white glove place. There are no slots that I could see at the white glove though.

Damn... I got the hacker achievement. If you check TA they have a great guide for 25 of em. Camp Searchlight has 4! One's 100 skill though.
