What is this I dont even...
I NEVER said 8/10 was a bad score, I was arguing that kat called GTA IV a bad game, in which I said "you may not have enjoyed it and thats fine but that doesn't make it a bad game." This suddenly gets turned into zomg ur a fanboy when I didn't discuss ratings at ALL, I just merely said it was a great game and rockstar is known for its quality.
Then haze says derp I dont like satire characters but I like gta! When at least half the references and characters are satire on pop culture and things going on, so do you only enjoy half the game then? And yeah you really do hate almost every game or nit pick about stupid shit, just go to every game threwd youve posted in and there will be 2 complaint posts from you. You cant enjoy a game for what it is, ever.
GTA chose to take a serious turn which was a change of pace for the series, saints row took over the over the top role fine if thats what your looking for.

I'm not too fond of the driving. It's like they went from too realistic in 4 to too arcadey in this one. Also, I've played about 5 hours and I'm nearly 20% done with only 1 achievement...

The Driving is weird i feel like cars turn too sharply and the camera angle doesn't keep up with the car turning. Maybe I just have to get used to it since I've been playing the godfather lately and the driving is god awful in that game.

I've played about three hours so far, and I love it. I will have to agree that the driving isn't all that great. I crash more in this one than in GTA 3. And sometimes it's kinda hard to find where you wanna go, particularly Franklin's house. It's because the map is so huge!!! And it's cool how when you die, it only costs you 15 dollars at the hospital. Oh, and carjacking people and running them over is still fun as hell

I don't think the serious tone hurt the game in any way though, I've laughed at the dialogue a few times in an hour and the opening scene was top.

I had a interesting first few hours. Had a truck drop out of the sky on top of my car. (As in it spawned in the air during a car chase and dropped on me). Got eaten by a giant shark...and killed some imaginary aliens with a Gatling gun.
