I think EA is trying to take Activisions throne of worse company in video games with this shit. We already pay a yearly fee and pay for overpriced shitty, short DLC as it is, now we have to pay to have certain normal features of the game...ridiculous, thank god i dont play that many EA games and this doesnt affect Skate 3 any.

Yeah. Luckily I usually buy my sports games new, which is usually only FIFA, and sometimes Madden. But they already piss me off with their stupid ultimate team bullshit on FIFA, that I'm not paying $10 for (though I believe it's $5 for FIFA10) to get some stupid trading card game achievements to complete the game.

I hate EA sports games (except for the racing games), but I have been known to waffle them, but rarely the on-line parts. No impact other than another reason to despise EA. Way to go EA Team!

This is honestly the worst idea I have ever heard. If EA wants to crackdown on used games than how about they make a game that is worth playing after you beat it the first time. Instead of making shitty sequels to games that shouldn't have sequels. I know quite a few people that own Final Fantasy and so far none of them have sold it because it is that great of a game. That stops people from buying used game. I really hope people don't buy these games and than EA can realize what an awful decision this is. I didn't mind the free DLC if you bought it new because that made it worth it but there is no upside to this decision.
