I don't care too much about EA's shitty sports games, but I hope this move doesn't end up increasing their profits by any significant amount--other devs and publishers are going to be watching this pretty carefully.

what are they gonna think of next to fuck over us gamers?
First they shut down their servers for games that don't have a ton of people playing them online , so if you dont get to them soon enough you miss out if the game has any online MP achievements now they're talking about making you pay to play their games online if you dont buy it brand new, with the way the economy is still struggling I personally think this is a bad move and think they will lose alot of their fan base

Quote by Top Dogs 360:
Right now it looks like just the basic sports games and MMA. Which honestly ever year they feel like the same game anyway just with updated rosters. I don't think this will help their sales at all. and lets say I can buy it used for 15 dollars (come on there sports games) then pay the 10 for online pass I'm still better off than paying 60 up front.
Or watch Toys R Us and Target's clearance area's. You can get a lot of 09 sports games for $5 or $10, and as soon as the 11 games hit, those 2 stores will start to clearance out the 10 stuff.

EA can kiss my ass. I only buy EA games that are USED anyways. The only game I didn't was Mass Effect 2. I only buy sports games when they're under $10 and I don't play them online anyways. I hope they loose their asses on this.

I only buy Madden and thats on release day anyway, doesn't bother me much albeit this is a BS tactic.
