First it was the ending, and now the entirety of Halo 3 has hit the net due to software pirates. Halo 3 DVD data has been apparently uploaded across the Internet for illegal downloading less than a week in advance of the release date.
This seems to be tradition for the Halo franchise now, as Halo 2 was pirated nearly a month before its release in 2004. But really, it shouldn't surprise anyone these days when a game as highly anticipated as Halo 3 finds its way to the darker recesses of the Internet.
Before you bound off to scour the net for your own copied copy, keep the following in mind: it's completely illegal and criminal conviction of software piracy can be met with a $250,000 fine and/or a prison sentence of up to five years. Two, even if the law doesn't catch you, Microsoft probably will -- it takes a modded 360 to play illegal game copies, and playing illegal game copies on a modded 360 will likely result in Microsoft banning you from Xbox Live into oblivion.
Halo 3 Pirated to the net?
Halo 3 is only a few days away kiddies..................Can't we all just breath and relax???
