4.5/5 from me
zomg so goodd
I admit I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I knew it was gonna be corny going into it so I got about what I expected out of it. It had some laughs and the soundtrack was awesome.
I honestly probably would've waited until it hit DVD if my mom and aunt didn't want to go see it for Mothers Day today. They were big fans of the original soap opera when they were kids and I remember the shitty remake from the early 90's more. I can see why Lil didn't care for it cause it really is kind of a giant inside joke for fans of the old shows. I just wish Tim Burton would get back to making original films like Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands cause I'm sick of the remakes. I did like this one more than both Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Alice in Wonderland. I thought those both sucked ass.

It's Practically confirmed that Burton is working on Beetlejuice 2 starring Michael Keaton, Winnona Ryder, and Johnny Depp.
Avengers 4/5: Exactly what I wanted. Awesome action, decent story, a few good laughs
The Vow 2/5: (GF made me go) Boooooooring
Cabin in the woods 2/5: I appriciate the hidden agenda element, and the cube scene was awesome, but other than that I found it lacking.
The Raven 4/5: A perfect blend of Sleepy Hollow and National Treasure

Agreed, and I generally enjoy all things Tim Burton. Time to lay off the remakes and get some more originals out there. As far as remakes, I didnt care for Alice or Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, but I simply loved his version of Sweeney Todd... Probably a little more than I should have. (There's a framed movie poster decorating my wall- lol I needed something to cover up the holes in this bank repo). But I loved every version of that story and have for as long as I can remember.
I will give Dark Shadows this, there were some one liners that did make me laugh (when Barnabus mispronounced McDonalds)
Still, I'm gonna attempt to hit up Avengers at some point.
Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol - 6/10
Chronicle - 7.5/10
Kids in the Hall - Brain Candy - 9/10 (My 50th time watching this, still love it)
