Metro 2033 - 9/10
Really enjoyed the story and the environment and voice-work are superb. You have to scavenge for ammo and supplies kinda like BioShock but I never really ran out of ammo on easy. I just finished my first run-thru and only have 19/39 achievements so there's a few missable ones and some that require you to play certain levels more than once. For instance one chievo requires you to get through a level without killing anyone and another for killing everybody in that same level. Apparently there's two endings that can play out as well so I looking forward to going thru it again.

if you haven't already started over, irish, you can reload specific levels once you beat the game to mop up some of the achievements. when i started my second playthrough i was just 4 or 5 achievements shy of the completion.
wish i would have seen this earlier, lol.

if you haven't already started over, irish, you can reload specific levels once you beat the game to mop up some of the achievements. when i started my second playthrough i was just 4 or 5 achievements shy of the completion.

No I haven't started over yet and I did see where you can go back and play each level individually. Thanks for the heads up though. I might as well do a whole nother run-thru anyway cause it seems like I missed a chievo every other level.

thank god for the above! got my metro shipped today from that $25 office depot deal and i was hopin i wouldnt HAVE to do a whole new playthrough if i missed somethin, b pissed if there was no level select and i missed somethin twice, hate that in games, that and a lack of autosaves.

^^ indeed, i beat all the multiplayer n 1ked the game out in like a total of 3 or 4 days n have no desire to go back n play it, i heard they were "looking into" bringin back SvM in future downloadable content, though it prolly wont happen till the next full game.

2010 Tournament Winner

I've been bored so I picked up two arcade games, Geometry Wars2 and Shadow Complex.
I loved Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved and I don't know why I didn't pick up 2 sooner, but I'm glad I did. This game is a serious blast. It's so addicting I can't even explain it. I just spent an hour an a half playing Pacifism trying to beat Sean's score of 20Mil (damn you

Haven't played much of Shadow Complex yet, but it's got great reviews and everyone I know that has it likes it so I'm looking forward to it.
Speaking of Arcade games, are there any others you guys would recommend me getting that are fun and enjoyable (I have Marble Blast, 1943, all the ones of the arcade disc, Galaga, Mrs. Pac-Man, and the two listed above)?
