Nile - Those whom the gods detest 8.5/10
I probably shouldn't mark points off simply because I compare this to Annihilation of the Wicked but I can't help it. This is a bad ass fucking album, don't get me wrong, but AotW is far better in my opinion and that album is a solid 9.5. If you like Nile already, you will like this album. If you are checking them out for the first time, check out AotW instead.

Interesting... I just bought my copy of TWTGD a few days ago and I've been jamming it a lot. I was thinking about how it felt like a better album overall than AotW, because that album always seemed to turn in to a blur to me--my attention would drift some and it became just generic Nile noise instead of individual songs; after listening to TWTGD in a single sitting many times over, it still felt like each song had its own thing going.
Maybe I need to start listening to AotW again, maybe I just wasn't in the right mood when I got it originally...
But yeah Nile's so fucking great. The liner notes in TWTGD were +4.

I must admit it took me a while to hold AotW as high as I do. I can understand where you are coming from with the generic Nile noise as they stand out from all of their contemporaries. (Who else out there is doing drop A tuned Egyptian style?
)I really only get to listen to music in my car and that leaves me alone with little else to do but give it my undivided attention. I have probably only listened to Those Whom... a total of 15-20 time completely through, so who know how I will feel once I have given it as much attention as I have to AotW.
But I digress...
Absolutely Nile is fucking amazing! They are completely devoted to their style and the liner notes are just another great thing the do to try to get you to really buy into them and their music. Brilliant!

Really diggin it! Though I miss the bluesy rawness of their first few albums, I'm really digging how their sound has evolved. It's like they add a layer of polish with each new album.

Eminem - Relapse
Not a bad album, but by far not his best. Tracks that stand out to me are "3 a.m.", "We Made You", "Stay Wide Awake", "Must Be The Ganja", "Beautiful", and "Crack A Bottle". I would give it a 7/10.
