5/5 Loved it!

I watched the film for the first time Saturday night and DL'd a torrent of soundtrack the next day. It's a great mix of original songs written for the film and great Classic Country (the only kinda Country I appreciate) tunes from the likes of Buck Owens, The Delmore Brothers, Waylon Jennings and Townes Van Zandt. The original songs that Jeff Bridges performs for the film and soundtrack are just a fantastic homage to the the Classic Country song writers of yesteryear. Anyone who appreciates fine songwriting owes it to themselves to watch this film and check out the soundtrack.

Whitechapel - The Somatic Defilement (2007)

The fact is, they will never...EVER top this album. Like bands such as Job For a Cowboy, The Acacia Strain, and Emmure (deathcore speaking) their older stuff is just outright better. One of the finer deathcore bands that I like.

Tool - Aenima (5/5)
Just recently got into Tool, glad I did because I was missing a lot. Aenima is their second album, and is full of good tracks. The song only has 9 actual songs (the other six are "fillers"), and all nine are very good songs. Favorites are Aenema, Hooker With A Penis, Forty Six & Two, and Eulogy.

Tool - Lateralus (5/5)
Since I liked Aenima so much I decided to pick up another album of theirs (I choose this one because it had slightly higher critic scores than 10,000 Days or Undertow). This album also has 9 songs (only two fillers this time), and one again they're all great. There's a few parts in Reflection that feel a little slow, and the song kind of drags on a bit, but it's good nonetheless. Favorite songs are Schism, Lateralus, Ticks & Leeches, and The Grudge.

Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine (5/5)
I bought the whole album on iTunes yesterday because I was running low on music to listen to, and I was surprised. I always liked Rage, I knew quite a few songs by them a while back, but never got a whole album. This album if fantastic. It's the perfect blend of rap and hard rock, with really catchy riffs. Favorite songs are Take the Power Back, Killing In the Name, Know Your Enemy, and Freedom.

love Blacken the Cursed Sun. I started listening to Impending Doom's new cd There Will Be Violence. So far from the first 4 songs ill give it an 8.5/10, drumming is phenomenal and there are some good breakdowns.

I've been listening to KSE's album Alive or Just Breathing, and I gotta say, it's pretty good. 8.5/10
