I have a question too, will all your maps and games from the original Halo 3 be carried over to the multiplayer disk?

Yeah, I wasn't sure data could be carried over from different games though.

Its not a different game, its the halo 3 disc without the campaign + the maps

That's pretty gay. I'm not a big Halo fan so I didn't know that. There's no chance in hell that I'm gonna pay 60 bucks for a freakin' expansion pack.

I thought it was just an extension of the story. That's still pretty dumb that it doesn't have its own multiplayer

Its not an expansion pack. Plus, you can be online for firefight mode and can run through the campain online. Plus three new maps so its well worth 60. I buying the collectors with the controller. This game is going to be great. Plus, why mess up the already flawless gameplay of halo 3 multiplayer.
Also, I've paid for games that have no multiplayer, so at least halo is give your some online gameplay. Hell fallout gave you nothing so you shouldn't complain

i guess u didnt read the reviews. firefight and co-op campaign has NO matchmaking. so u have to kno the ppl u are playing with. the only matchmaking there is is the halo 3 multiplayer disk which if u have halo 3 u already have all but 3 maps. also they said the story mode can be done in 4 to 5 hrs. so in defense of mike it is kinda an expansion/cash in for bungie. but i will def be buying it regardless

Woah, dude. No need to get so defensive of the game. I didn't like Halo 3's multiplayer that much, it was fun with friends but public sucked in my opinion. Only thing I meant was that if its shipping with Halo 3's multiplayer, not anything new, it shouldn't be 60 bucks. I haven't read anything about ODST but does it have any impact at all of the main story of the Halo series? If not then it really is just a $60 expansion pack.
And if that Fallout shit is directed at me, I don't play it. But RPGs have replay value, shooters like Gears, Call of Duty, Halo, and the like don't unless they have online.
