Nope, you get a separate disc with the complete halo 3 mutiplayer on it INCLUDING all the maps, its the same as the regular halo 3 multiplayer

Yep, you can play with people who have the original halo 3 disk, think of the multiplayer disk that comes with ODST the same disc minus the Halo 3 Campaign

No ODST includes no original multiplayer of it's own. It does include Firefight which is Halos version of Horde mode or Nazi Zombie mode in CoD:W@W The multiplayer portion of the game will be on a second disc which is straight up Halo 3 multiplayer, it will include every Halo 3 map put out to date along with 3 new ones only available on that disc.

i have no doubt in my mind that firefight will be way more addicting than WAW's Nazi zombies or Horde mode, though it may not be a completely original concept, I'm sure bungie did what it does best, they perfect gameplay. Can't wait!
