I remember about two months before the 360 release, there was a thread on IGN's open forum, The Vestibule, about this kid who's father worked for Microsoft and had managed to get one of the first 360s, mainly a test unit.
He showed everyone on the forum that he was playing Halo 2 on it.
A couple of days later, he posted in the same thread to say that his stupidity got his father fired from Microsoft for leaking information about a product that had been yet to be released.
To me, this kid got what he deserved. Period.

What an idiot, getting his father fired. Geeze... I bet he was like 'well my dad can't be fired for my actions' yeah right. He was lucky his father actually gave him the test unit.

I would just like to point out it wasnt just me that did it, i know of over 100 others that did it and personally know about 10 of them. the day that me and some others got it there were tons, at least 50 people messaging me and over 100 posting on another forum begging me to let them glitch it... dont tell me if you had the chance to play Halo 3 early and you didnt know the consequences you wouldnt do it... and for those of you saying why did i play it online, its the Epsilon test, you cant even launch it if your offline.
