^ did you try resetting your hard drive cache? I forgot the button combo, but it stopped games from updating everytime I put the game in to play (it gets on your nerves alot

)

On Topic: Achievement I'm most proud of would probably be getting the Vidmaster Challenge: Annual achievement in Halo 3. It took some time and it was a pain. My internet cut out right before we got to the end and had to start all over again. It took like an hour and a half the second go through (about 3 hours including the game before my net cut out). Now I know how to beat Halo on Legendary easily now XD

Well, you still will get the updates but they won't keep popping up. If a new one comes around it will update but by resetting the cache you don't have to keep downloading the same update over and over again.

well i know people have more achievements now, so i thought id bring this back up

here are some of my fave achievements ive gotten

Fable2:
"ruler of albion"
"the gambler"
getting 1k gs

GOW:
Commando (insane campaign)
Curb Appeal/Capital Punishment/It's a Massacre (curb stomp, execution, and chainsaw achievements)

Halo 3:
Legendary campaign
Getting 1k of the original GS
Orpheus

UT3:
Big Gamer Hunter
Don't Taze Me Bro! (i kept having to get like 10 feet away so they wouldnt accidentally shoot it)

SC4:
10k strikes of proof
numeric god
hero on the battle field

Greatest/most proud of Overall:
1k'n Fable 2 (thx to evol and white lama for helping me out w/ that!)

gawd.
i've said it once, i'll say it again.
you haven't achieved ANYTHING until you've beaten all the FEAR IA maps on extreme.

as far as i can tell i'm the only xba member to do it.
aldemar MIGHT have, from his post, but i haven't checked.

you're right those are tough, i think i did half of them and never went back to the other ones, but i still say, for me, cod 2 on veteran had some extremely annoying pull your hair out moments. that's right hill 400, i'm looking at you BITCH! :growl:

im stuck on the first level, where the like 11dy billion germans come charging at you

idk how to get past it, cause im tryna snipe em but they get too close

hill 400 is part of d-day if i remember correctly.
not sure. it's been a couple years.

you know the classic scene with the americans approaching japan's shore on the boats and the bombs and bullets flying left and right? i think that's the beginning of hill 400?

I see this post is from Oct, but I thought I would just state that the achievement I am still most proud of is the Tournament Qualifier Achievement for Project Gotham Racing 3, where I ended up qualilying #26 in the trip to the Nationals and received the rare PGR3 GamerPic.

That one was still the toughest one I have ran across and was not a happy camper to be crashed into on the last lap of round one.

That's very impressive man, I tried so hard to be good at PGR but for some reason i fail at racing games. I do make some very badass designs for cars in Forza 2 though!

Congrats on that one... best I ever did was 73th and only the top 64 qualified for the tourney. But I totally suck at racing games....that time was a full 8 seconds faster than my next best time, was total luck
