It's kinda hard to break it down... but I'd guess I play:
40% = Competition (gamerscore challenges/leaderboards, etc.)
60% = Achievements/Gamerscore
Don't get me wrong, even though I play mainly for competition and gamerscore, I still have LOADS of fun (fun just isn't a key motivating factor... it's more of a by-product).
The way I figure, I've only played about 170 games out of the 800+ available on the 360. By the end of the generation, I'd like to be able to say that I experienced everything the 360 had to offer.

I would have to say it all depends on the game i guess i do enjoy the games out but i also enjoy the feeling of getting all of the achievements as well.
